On November 12, 2008 the Club presented a check for $9,180 to the Arvada Food bank to help sponsor the backpack program. This great program sends a backpack of food home for the weekend with deserving students.

On April 18-19, 2008 the once every two years melodrama raised over $7,400 for the Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Institute at Denver Children's Hospital.
